FAQ’s
Do you employ other makeup and hair artists?
I work freelance and so I don't employ staff. However for bigger bookings, I am happy to recommend reliable & talented artists that I work with regularly.
Do you offer trials?
Absolutely! Trials are the perfect time to test your look, tweak anything you’re unsure about, and just feel super confident heading into your big day. Trials are usually 2–3 hours and include both hair and makeup, unless you just want one or the other. Bonus: you’ll leave looking fabulous, so plan a cute dinner after!
I don't think I’ll have a chance to do a trial before my wedding, can I still book you?
First of all, don't panic. Only about a third of my brides have a trial. If you have time, travel or financial constraints, we will organise a Zoom or FaceTime call to go through all the details. Also sharing Pinterest boards is a great way to communicate looks. My bridal Pinterest board can be found here.
Do you have a studio? Where will my hair & makeup session take place?
I come to you with my fully mobile kit. It's the most relaxing and easiest way and you can get ready in the comfort of your own home or hotel room.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings or special events, the sooner the better — ideally 6 to 12 months in advance (especially during peak seasons). For in-salon makeup or hair services, a week or two out is usually perfect. Last-minute? Slide into my DMs or send a message — I might still be able to squeeze you in.
What makeup brands do you use?
Only the good stuff. I use a curated kit of high-end, professional products like Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Hourglass, Dior, and more. Everything is chosen for long-wear, camera-friendliness, and how beautifully it works on real skin (yes, even tear-prone, dance-all-night skin).
Do you travel for weddings or events?
Yes, I do! I’m based in Palm Desert, but I travel for weddings, events, and destination elopements. Travel fees vary depending on the distance and logistics — just send me the details and I’ll give you a custom quote.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
Great question! Come with a clean, moisturized face and freshly washed hair (unless we’re doing something different and I’ve given you specific prep instructions). Wear something comfy, and if you have inspo photos — bring them! I love seeing your vibe.
Can you do makeup for my mom/bridesmaids/friends too?
Yes please! I offer group packages and can glam your whole crew. The more the merrier — just let me know how many faces we’re working with so I can schedule enough time (and coffee).
What’s in the touch-up kit you leave behind?
A few of my fave essentials: blotting paper, a little pot of your lip color, bobby pins, a mini puff or sponge, and a couple of secret weapons for shine and staying power. Basically everything you need to stay fresh for hours — without carrying your whole makeup bag.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Life happens, I get it — but please give at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations. For weddings and large bookings, deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations within 30 days may be subject to the remaining balance. (It’s all in the contract, promise I keep it simple.)
